In comparison to other gaming chairs I looked at. This is by far the best for comfort and quality!
Bought the Kracken Pro. Received it within a week of purchase. I had high hopes for this chair and I was really excited when I finally got it. Material quality seems to be pretty of good quality. Assembly was pretty straight forward. It feels heavy duty and stable. Castors are quiet and roll smoothly. There were some minor scratches on the cover for the backrest adjustment cover straight out of the box. The seat base is pretty comfortable. The magnetic headrest is nice and soft. Backrest tilt feature is nice. The seat tilt feature is a great feature but I dont like that when it is locked in, it still has a minor degree of tilting still. The movements of the armrests are decent but I have a serious dislike for the armrest pads. I just find them to be very hard/uncomfortable. I feel like my arms slide around on them too easily and tend to slip off frequently. I like the idea of the adjustable lumbar support and the cloth material however I just dont find it to be comfortable. I cant quite put my finger on it as to why. Its almost like the lumbar pad should tilt to conform to my back angle. I have tried to sit on this chair for a total of 6 hours now over 2 x 3 hour sessions and despite making numerous adjustments, I simply cannot seem to be comfortable in the chair. I am constantly shifting my body around hope to find comfort but never find it. The headrest despite being soft seems to leave my neck sore. If this chair was $300, I might expect some of these issues but when you pay $700, I'd expect this chair to be amazing and super comfortable. I feel deceived after watching a bunch of promotional videos saying how amazing this chair is. I have definitely been left feeling disappointed. On top of that, the return policy says that items bought on sale are not eligable for return or exchange. I saw so many neagtive reviews regarding the customer service that I didn't even try to reach out to them. It also says that items the are used are able to be returned/refunded. How can you test the chair and determine if you like it without using it? Now the only option left for me is to try to sell this chair on an online marketplace where I will most likely take a financial loss. I have already told several of my friends who were looking at these chairs to look elsewhere as I am sure they will also be disappointed.
My friend recommended Blacklyte to me, saying he had a great experience. I just received my AthenaPro, and it’s fantastic — both the design and the build quality are top-notch.
I ordered direct from the website this past Sunday and received it today, (Tuesday) In Ontario . They emailed me at 11:30 at night soon as I ordered to tell me the one I ordered wasn't in stock, (Athena w blue fabric) they offered to upgrade me to Athena Pro, I said sure. Great customer service.! I'm pretty happy with it, feels great! It was easy to assemble too :)
After a few months I started getting neck pain from the pillow (it pushes your neck out way too far from the back base ruining posture)
From the moment I unboxed it to the first time I sat down, everything about this chair impressed me. I’d absolutely buy it again if I need.
I was hesitant to spend this much on a chair, but it’s been worth every penny. The build quality, comfort, and support make it a great value.
I bought the Atlas desk for my home office, and it’s been amazing. It’s spacious enough to hold two monitors and still have room for other accessories. It’s sturdy and looks fantastic!
Amazing chair for the price! Really worth the 400$
10/10
I’ve used a few gaming chairs before, but the KrakenPro stands out. The cushioning and lumbar support make long gaming sessions much more comfortable.
Every part of this chair is adjustable, making it easy to customize for my body type. I appreciate that I can tweak everything from the seat height to the lumbar support. It’s like it was made just for me!
The metal frame and base make this chair feel incredibly solid. No wobbling, no squeaking—just pure stability. I can tell this chair is built to last for years!
I just received my chair! I had a shipping issue, but the customer service was very professional.
The parts in the box are very well organized, and what about the chair assembly?
I am very satisfied and highly recommend Blacklyte for your future purchase.
Everything from start to finish was handled so well best experience I’ve had purchasing something in a long time. Quality is better than any other gaming chair I was looking at.
Shipping took a little longer than expected, but it was totally worth it. The chair arrived in perfect condition, and after using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made.
Placed my order yesterday afternoon, and it was shipped out the same night. Packaging was perfect upon arrival, and I love this chair already!
The seat cushion strikes the perfect balance between softness and firmness, providing great support while remaining comfortable. Plus, the free headrest and lumbar pillow allow for full customization based on personal preference. Overall, the craftsmanship is excellent, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Blacklyte to my friends!
I love how sleek the Atlas desk looks in my office. The design is minimalist but still feels premium. It’s also very functional with plenty of space to keep everything I need close by.
Ordered on Monday, delivered by Wednesday. Packaging was solid, everything arrived in perfect condition, and setup was a breeze!
I was worried about the wheels scratching my wooden floor, but these glide so smoothly and quietly! The chair moves effortlessly, and the wheels feel high quality—definitely a plus.
Compared to my previous chair, this one feels much sturdier. The wheels are quieter and more durable, and the overall comfort level is a big step up.
I own both the Athena X and KrakenPro, and while both are great, I prefer the KrakenPro. The lumbar support and armrests feel much more refined. If you have the budget, I highly recommend going for the KrakenPro.
I've had the Noblechair Icon for about 8 years and couldn't find a chair that could replace it. I bought the Corsair TC500 and it was just alright.. So i decided to just hope and pray with little reviews on youtube for this chair and just purchase the chair. Chair arrived.. opened the box and took the parts out and first thing i noticed were the side casing that hides the lever mechanism were broken off during shipping. Contacted support and they were quick to respond and fix my issues. It has been about a week now and havent gotten an email that the part was shipped out yet but I am patient. The chair is really really comfortable. The seat is not hard as a rock and the back support is something else. This is the best chair I have purchased but there is a few things that are just off. For a 600 dollar chair im expecting everything to be almost perfect. I can tell the quality is much better than the Corsair TC500. The chair is heavy and just feels premium. There was a few things though that have been bothering me though which leaning forward the chair makes a creaking sound. The Frog mechanism I wish it were more stiff where I wish it didnt lean back a few inches even though I have it locked.. The space between the cushion and the arm rests is like a whole inch difference apart.. but I think the cushion itself is not evenly flat but one side seems to be higher than the other. The chair is nice though but I wish there was instructions on how to use the lumbar support.
Was a bit skeptical at first, but this chair exceeded my expectations. Super comfortable, durable, and well worth the price!
The adjustable lumbar support and armrests make a huge difference. I’ve customized everything to fit my posture, and I feel much better sitting for long hours.
